• Challenges/Blockers Faced:

  • Availability of code examples using Foundry
  • Availability of documentation on the steps it takes to build a module
    • What makes a Safe module a module, what interfaces should it support?
    • We ended up finding Github repos of other implementations and reverse-engineering

    • The official examples are too complicated for people developing a Safe module for the first time (They also only use hardhat).

      • Needs a simple Counter example (increment a number, decrement a number)
      • Then slightly more complex examples with standard patterns
      • And finally, the examples that are currently available

TLDR: Most of our time was spent trying to set up the Safe stack locally in order to start developing the module.
