SEP19, LuukDAO Report #3 - June 30

Summary of Achievements:
- We’ve started deploying a (private) version of Superchain Accounts and are UX testing the front-end while finalizing the back-end elements. The test deployment (sepholia) can be found here.
- We have made significant improvements to the Superchain Accounts infrastructure.
- Superchain Eco has made good BD progress and will be able to demo Superchain Accounts to it’s partner in ETHCC to get partner support ($$) for the initial launch program.
Milestones Reached:
- Made significant progress on Milestones 2, 3, and 4 - however, will need 2 more weeks to finalize 2 and 3 and start the first campaign.
Challenges/Blockers Faced:
- This month, we had to make many decisions and trade-offs related to our Privy set-up, gas compensation, and database infrastructure. This slowed down our progress, but ultimately improved the infrastructure.
We realized that our intended back-end infrastructure (centralized) for Badges is not scalable and will have to be improved after initial deployment. We’ve already planned for the rework to take place after ETHCC.
Enabler: The Optimism Foundation has shown interest in leveraging Superchain Accounts. We’re meeting with their COO today.
Enabler: The Superchain Eco team is organizing various Superchain events in Brussels (Superchain Space / Optimistic Gathering) and has been able to partner with and receive funds from 4+ OP chains, creating a strong foundation for Superchain Account partnerships.
