As discussed in Wednesday’s Governance Community Call, the Councils and Committees structure has incorporated substantial community feedback, through public forum comments and OBRA retro sessions. In response, the full OBRA structure overhaul will proceed at a slower pace, opting instead for a more lightweight OBRA iteration first that invites additional input and engagement throughout the iterative design process.
In terms of the current OBRA structure, onboarding was completed in October for two new initiatives: Goverland’s SEP30 and Kolektivo/Hopper’s SEP42, both of which have shared their initial reporting updates. Looking ahead, OBRA budgets total approximately $271k across all six strategies, with initiatives actively competing for funding. We are currently in Week 2 of Season 4, Sprint 2, with the voting period scheduled to take place from November 13th to 25th.
To date, OBRA has received a total of 34 applications, with 19 of them being accepted and ratified through voting on Snapshot.
The distribution of OBRA proposals based on OBRA strategies has largely remained the same.
There are currently no applications being voted on in Snapshot
